About 18 months ago I walked into Showcase Reality and met Jeff. I was visiting my Sister who lives in the area and saw an ad for Showcase Reality. I am near retirement and my wife and I have decided to move back to Ohio. We thought a local realtor would be good, but since we still live in Michigan, about 5 hours from Mount Vernon, I didn’t know what to expect. What I didn’t know is that I had just met one of the best realtor’s in the area. Our plan is to build house designed to age in. We were looking for a nice piece of property, with a few trees, not totally flat, out in the country, but close to town and services. We knew it would not be easy to find something like this, but Jeff accepted our challenge. He kept us up to date as properties came up and educated us with the area. Since we live out of state this was really important. As time went by my Wife and I felt like maybe we had “Goldilocks syndrome” but Jeff kept us on track and each visit we made to look at a piece of property brought us closer to our dream. Then, just before the 4th of July 2020, we found exactly what we had been looking for. A beautiful piece of land that exceeded our expectations, tucked back on a country road on the North side of Mount Vernon, within 15 minutes of everything we need as we get older. From the time we submitted our offer to closing everything went like clockwork. Jeff set it up so we could sign our offer and the closing documents electronically which saved us a couple of trips. As I learned there is a lot to consider when buying property. We would have never been able to move our dream into reality without Jeff’s patience, knowledge, integrity and experience. I am very happy that I chose Jeff to represent me in the sale of my condo. Less that 3 hours after the property was listed, Jeff had a full price offer. After that he even went as far as to supply me with contact info for all of the utilities, for final readings, as well as keeping me abreast of all closing details.
